Basic API DomainSearch

Synopsis
public array DomainSearch( array $searchquery )
Description

Searches the Sedo database for domains matching the given keyword.

SOAP
This function can be called using SOAP.
XML
This function can be called using GET / POST requests.
Parameters
Type Parameter Mandatory Description
integer $partnerid yes Partner ID.
string $signkey yes Sign key.
string $keyword yes Keyword to search for. (in UTF-8 encoding)
string $tld no Top level domain to filter for.
string $kwtype no

Keyword search mode:

  • B - Begins with
  • C - Contains
  • E - Ends with
boolean $no_hyphen no true only shows results without hyphen.
boolean $no_numeral no true only shows non-numerical results.
boolean $no_idn no true only shows non-IDN-domains.
integer $resultsize no Number of results (max. 1000).
string $language no ISO 639-1 two-letter language code. See Domain Languages.

The return value contains the following elements:

Type Key Description
string domain Domain name in ACE format.
string type
  • D - Domain
  • W - Website
double price Domain price. 0.00 - No price is defined.
integer currency
  • 0 - EUR
  • 1 - USD
  • 2 - GBP
integer rank
  • 1 - Exact match
  • 2 - Begins with keyword
  • 3 - Ends with keyword
  • 4 - Contains keyword
string url URL for the details page of Sedo.com.
